Be SMART is a framework that parents, caretakers, and community leaders can follow to help keep their communities safe by preventing kids from accessing firearms. The training will include the Introduction to Be SMART presentation, information about the importance of responsible gun storage, how to engage with adults and normalize conversations about secure storage, and ways to be more involved with Midlands Be SMART.
