25+ years in Mathematics education 

I began my teaching career at John Ford Middle School teaching 8th grade mathematics.  Later, Algebra I was added to the school's curriculum.  Our school was  fortunate to have a gifted and talented program where I was a part of a three member team of teachers who taught all G/T students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade.  It was wonderful being able to see students' growth from year to year. 

I met my husband at John Ford Middle School and we are the parents of three children.  I am always seeking new ways that I may hone my craft and serve the students I teach.  It is my desire that students who leave me are well prepared for the challenges and opportunities they face in the future.
